On weekends there are also Night Buses operated by HTMbuzz. The Buses depart from the city centre (Buitenhof) and go to various parts of the city (Scheveningen, Leidschendam-Voorburg, Ypenburg, Delft, Rijswijk, Nootdorp and Leidschenveen). The night buses start operating from around 23:00 until early morning. 
In The Hague you have multiple paying options, for example, buses only accept credit/debit cards wherein trams paying in cash is still accepted.
